Indian Cultural Society, Monash (MICS)

Monash Indian Cultural Society is one of Monash's newest clubs born out of Monash's extensive Indian community. The club is rapidly expanding and has already run many successful and popular events, such as barbeques, the MICS regal ball and Chaat night (a fusion of dance, traditional Indian food, drinks and music).

Monash Muggles

The Monash Muggles aims to bring the magic of the Harry Potter universe to life through a range of social events run throughout the year. From Horcrux Hunts to custom games such as Death Eaters along with the annual Yule Ball, this club has events for everyone. Following from the year that was 2020, The Monash Muggles has created a welcoming online community that will continue to be built upon, ensuring that everyone has a space to feel at home.

Card Collective, Monash (MCC)

The Monash Card Collective meets every Wednesday night to hang out and play card games of all kinds. Our most popular games are the customisable card games; Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Android: Netrunner. We have plenty of options for players who don't play those games though, like Sushi Go, Bloodborne the Card Game, and Star Realms. If you're interested in learning to play one of the larger games, our members always have spare decks with them so you'll be able to find someone to introduce you to one of these wonderful games. For those looking for a more competitive experience, we regularly run internal Magic leagues, drafts, and tournaments. If you're ready to give an external tournament a shot, we subsidise entry fees to attend local, regional and national competitions.

Mechatronics Engineering Clayton Club (MECC)

MECC assists students to develop and apply traditional classroom theory in practical fields. This is done through providing support for their projects and organising competitions, which encourage the Mechatronics way of thinking. WILDFIRE

WILDFIRE is Monash University's Student Rural Health Club. Monash Medieval (Society for Creative Anachronism)

Monash Medieval is a historical reenactment club, part of an international organisation known as the Society for Creative Anachronism. The Monash University Choral Society (or MonUCS, as we call ourselves) is one of the oldest student-run clubs at Monash University. MonUCS performs concerts, provides live music for organisations such as the Melbourne Club, and puts on musical productions; giving their audience the opportunity to experience a diverse range of choral repertoire. Oxfam’s main goal is to bring about positive change in the lives of people living in poverty.

We are a not-for-profit club aimed at current, returned and prospective exchange students. Monash Fashion and Beauty Appreciation Society aims to foster a diverse community of students from all genders, ethnicities and degrees who share a common passion for all things fashion and beauty. As well as promoting an image of self-confidence and awareness by using fashion and beauty as a means of self-expression and individuality, FABSOC hopes to illuminate their application to the community and society, particularly as an advocate for ethical supply chain and procurement. We aspire to educate all university students on ways to be environmentally-friendly and socially-conscious shoppers, without having to compromise our passion for fashion and beauty. FABSOC offers an interactive and engaging platform to inspire and mentor students interested in pursuing careers in the creative fashion and beauty industry, by combining their passion with their current degree, or in exploring their passion outside their degree.

Card Collective, Monash (MCC)

The Monash Card Collective meets every Wednesday night to hang out and play card games of all kinds. Our most popular games are the customisable card games; Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Android: Netrunner. We have plenty of options for players who don't play those games though, like Sushi Go, Bloodborne the Card Game, and Star Realms. If you're interested in learning to play one of the larger games, our members always have spare decks with them so you'll be able to find someone to introduce you to one of these wonderful games. For those looking for a more competitive experience, we regularly run internal Magic leagues, drafts, and tournaments. If you're ready to give an external tournament a shot, we subsidise entry fees to attend local, regional and national competitions.

Permaculture, Monash

Ever wanted to know how to grow your own food? Interested in sustainability? Always thought you had a secret green thumb? Then Monash Permaculture is the club for you! We are a community of students focused on gardening in accordance with permacultural practices. Permaculture is a model of agriculture focused on sustainable and self-sufficient practices with the intention of imitating natural ecosystems. We are also very focused on cooking and eating all the delicious produce we grow at the two gardens we run on campus, Monash Permaculture Garden (MPG) and Monash University Community Farm (MUC farm). We run working bees as well as events throughout the semester focused on education and cooking.

Juggling and Firetwirling, Monash Club of (MCJAF)

The Monash Club of Juggling and Firetwirling is a friendly group of circus-folk who meet to share skills. If you have an interest in juggling, poi, staff spinning, unicycling, or any other circus art, we are the club for you! We offer regular opportunities for members to be involved in volunteer and paid performances. Other events we hold include camps, trivia nights and equipment making workshops - make your own poi or fire staff! MCJAF is a great place to meet new people and learn new skills, and beginners are always welcome.

Cosplay Club, Monash

Welcome to the Monash Cosplay Club. We aim to promote cosplay as creative outlet and means of self-expression. Whether you're sewing wig wefts and wiring LEDs into your costumes, or just a casual fan of the craft, the Monash Cosplay Club has a place for you. You can sign up at our O-Week or Mid-Year Festival stalls, or at any of our events throughout the year. Members can look forward to crafting classes, photoshoots, collaborations with other clubs, and most importantly, free food!

Monash Medieval (Society for Creative Anachronism)

Monash Medieval is a historical reenactment club, part of an international organisation known as the Society for Creative Anachronism. We hold weekly meetings to learn a range of historical crafts such as sewing, embroidery, calligraphy, leatherworking, etc. We also run training sessions learning to fight in heavy armour with wooden weapons. Additionally, we're involved in many events with the wider SCA, including overnight camping events.
